For bras, use cold water with a mild detergent.
2. Use A Lingerie Bag
If you still want to machine wash your unmentionables, use a semi-structured lingerie bag. Fasten bras' hook-and-eye closures so they don't snag panties. Set the washer on a delicate or gentle setting and use cold water.
3. Drip Dry
If bras have foam molding, run your fingers over the cups to smooth them, then hang on a drying rack. Cotton panties may be tumble-dried (on the lowest temperature setting), but it's best to allow silk and silk blends to air-dry.
