Gluhwein: A Delicious Mulled Wine Recipe

Ingredients
| 1 | bottle of medium-bodied red wine (syrah/shiraz, grenache, or merlot are most recommended) | |
| 1 | c | brandy |
| 1⁄2 | c | mulling spices |
| 2 | c | brown sugar (white or powdered can also work if needed) |
| 2 | c | diced oranges |
| Optional: garnish with a cinnamon stick |
Instructions
Cook all ingredients over low heat, stirring occasionally, for at least one hour, preferably two. Filter out mulling spices when pouring into mugs or tea cups.
