Ingredients

1 bottle of medium-bodied red wine (syrah/shiraz, grenache, or merlot are most recommended)
1cbrandy
1⁄2cmulling spices
2cbrown sugar (white or powdered can also work if needed)
2cdiced oranges
  Optional: garnish with a cinnamon stick

Instructions

Cook all ingredients over low heat, stirring occasionally, for at least one hour, preferably two. Filter out mulling spices when pouring into mugs or tea cups.
