A weekly round-up of what has inspired me for my wedding.
Welcome to the Friday The 13th edition of My Favorite Things. Every Friday I will post my favorite things I have discovered while planning my Wedding. Pinterest helps me keep track of all of my musings and you all are the lucky recipients of seeing them! Most of my inspiration comes from Bride magazines, SHAPEBride and a plethora of Blogs, like Style Me Pretty.
Here are this week's musings:
1.) New Year, New Me--While I'm still in resolution mode, I want to take advantage of my motivation and continue my quest for a svelte bod for my wedding. This "No Equipment Needed Workout" will be my lifesaver for those days when I just can't make it to the gym, but have about 20 minutes of down time alone at home. Don't be deceived by what this says, it's a pretty substantial workout.
2.) Butterfly Bouquet-- If you could see my childhood bedroom, you would notice the mass amounts of butterfly paraphernalia that I have hanging up, and my adulthood apartment is no different. Although I wouldn't have this for my wedding, I do think this is a very cool and unique concept.
3.) Bridal on a Budget--I can never hear too much advice on saving money on my wedding. I was just in a lengthy Twitter conversation about the cost of flowers. This bridal guide has 75 tips on how to save money on my and your nuptials. I'll take it!
4.) Bridesmaids Photo Op-- Yes, it's cheesy but its also still adorable.
5.) Understated Centerpieces--My ongoing epic battle with what to do for my centerpieces may be over soon now that I've seen how elegant and simple this understated centerpiece is. This is what I would like, simple, with a LOT of candles.
6.) Vintage VW Van-- I've been toying with the idea of renting a vintage car for my transportation to and from the wedding. A VW Van would be stellar! It could transport our wedding parties as well. Now, I just need to find one in white.
7.) Hubby to be--A girl can dream, can't she?
