A Few of My Favorite Things-October 28, 2011

Welcome to the third week of my Friday Favorites. Every Friday I will post my favorite things I have discovered while planning my Wedding.  Pinterest helps me keep track of all of my musings and you all are the lucky reciepients of seeing them! Most of my inspiration came from Bride magazines, SHAPEBride and the plethora of Blogs, like Style Me Pretty.

1.) Balloon Release--Back in the day it used to be doves, then the cool kids started releasing butterflies. I personally love the idea of having a bunch of colorful balloons released. I think it's romantic to think about the possibilities of where it could travel (as long as it doesn't pop), plus they are super inexpensive and every guest can release one. If you want to be even more creative, each guest could insert a special note to the bride and groom.

2.) Vibrant Bouquets--This bouquet is so rich with color that I imeediately fell in love.

3.) Rustic Wedding Cake-- To compliment my rustic elegance theme to my wedding, I think this type of style cake would work well. I love the engraved initials.

4.) Anniversary Photos--Right now, I know I should be looking at Wedding photos but I couldn't help but be inspired by this couples 10th Wedding Anniversary photo. I think I might steal this idea. Super cute.

5.) White Coat--Since I'm getting hitched in November, it will be quite cold in New York, so I would love to arrive and depart my wedding looking put together and chic and this Anthropologie coat will do the trick!

6.) Rustic Centerpieces--The simplicity of these centerpieces allow everyone to focus on the more important reason as to why they're at a wedding, the simple love that the couple (ie. my fiance and I) share. I plan to switch out the vases with mason jars but I love the idea of adding tiny pumpkins to the tables to make it more festive.

7.) Flower Coin Purse-- How cute is this? It is so danty and perfect for any wedding day. I will have to find the source and pick it up for myself!
