Here goes nothing.
Saturday I sat outside of Starbucks drinking a $4 soy chai tea latte in ratty old sweatpants watching a half-marathon go by. There were people not particularly in shape, and old men in their 70s out running. I was hung over, out of shape, and feeling miserable.
It was then that 'nothing' began. 362 days until I run that half marathon.
There's a great podcast on iTunes (not by me) called "Couch to 5k in 9 weeks".
That's going to be my starting point, as well as trying out the South Beach Diet. I'm not getting any younger here, and I have the image of those 70 year old men mocking me.
