The 41-year-old Dancing With the Stars host and fitness expert has never looked better, but her #1 stay-sexy secret has nothing to do with her gorgeous toned body. "Sexy is a state of mind," Brooke told SHAPE in an exclusive interview for the October issue. She goes on to share her six top strategies to boost body confidence and maximize mojo, including her affinity for a certain series of erotic books.
In the new issue, Burke-Charvet also opens up about the foods she can't live without (she's a coffee-drinking fiend!), her hectic family life, and favorite workouts. Looking at her, it's easy to assume she spends all her time in the gym (she's nothing if not buff), but with such a busy schedule, she can't always fit in a full workout.
"I did the math and figured out that if you exercise an hour a day, you're only spending 4 percent of the day working out," she says. "If I can't commit to that small amount of time, then there's something wrong with me."
