Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars

It’s finally here, the much-anticipated season 15 Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars edition. While there are a few all-stars who will be sorely missed, Maria Menounos (robbed in season 14), Carson Kresley (how was he not the fan favorite from season 13?), season 13 winner J.R. Martinez (still have a mega-crush on you), I’m excited to see some oldies but goodies on the set this time around. And of course there are ae few casting choices I just don’t understand. Let’s take a look at what we are in for during Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars.

Apolo Anton Ohno
Current partner: Karina Smirnoff
Past partner: Julianne Hough
Season: 4
Known for: The Olympic short-track speed-skater wasn’t just a fan favorite his season, he tied Joey Fatone with five perfect scores throughout the season. Ohno eventually came out on top, adding the trophy to his trophy case at home.
Last night’s score: 22

Bristol Palin
Current partner: Mark Ballas
Past partner: Mark Ballas
Season: 11
Known for: The daughter of Sarah Palin finished third in her season despite being as awkward at the end of her season as at the beginning. She looked better last night but remains my first, “Why is she an all-star?”
Last night’s score: 19.5

Drew Lachey
Current partner: Anna Trebunskaya
Past partner: Cheryl Burke
Season: 2
Known for: Remember his freestyle? It’s no wonder the former 98 Degrees member won his season and is back on the show. Can’t wait to see what he does with his new partner!
Last night’s score: 21.5

Emmitt Smith
Current partner: Cheryl Burke
Past partner: Cheryl Burke
Season: 3
Known for: This previously paired team won season three largely due to the former footballer’s charm. He brought charisma and skill to the ballroom last evening, closing the show with the night’s highest score.
Last night’s score: 24.5

Gilles Marini
Current partner: Petra Murgatroyd
Past partner: Cheryl Burke
Season: 8
Known for: Coming in second to Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson by a 1-percent margin. Maybe last season’s winning pro, Petra Murgatroyd, can help him go all the way this year.
Last night’s score: 24

Helio Catroneves
Current partner: Chelsie Hightower
Past partner: Julianne Hough
Season: 5
Known for: Earning four perfect scores to take home the win his season, he may have charmed his way to first. Can he do it again with still relatively new-to-the-show dance partner Chelsie Hightower?
Last night’s score: 21.5

Joey Fatone
Current partner: Kym Johnson
Past partner: Kym Johnson
Season: 4
Known for: The former *N Sync member earned five perfect 30s during his season, putting him in second place behind Apolo Anton Ohno.
Last night’s score: 20.5

Kelly Monaco
Current partner: Val Chmerkovskiy
Past partner: Alec Mazo
Season: 1
Known for: The very first winner was amazing, but the show is much more challenging than it once was. How will the petite actress fare? Based on last night’s sharp and sassy performance, I'm thinking well.
Last night’s score: 21.5

Kirstie Alley
Current partner: Maksim Chmerkovisky
Past partner: Maksim Chmerkovisky
Season: 12
Known for: No, it’s not her second-place finish behind Hines Ward, it's her dramatic weight loss and love/hate relationship with her partner. And who can forget Maks’ fateful fall on the dance floor? Looks like the pair is moving past it with an emotional, if not technically strong, first performance.
Last night’s score: 19

Melissa Rycroft
Current partner: Tony Dovolani
Past partner: Tony Dovolani
Season: 8
Known for: A last minute replacement when Jewel and Nancy O’Dell were injured before the DWTS season began, Rycroft went on to become a fan favorite and Dovolani’s best partner, landing them in third place.
Last night’s score: 21

Pamela Anderson
Current partner: Tristan MacManus
Past partner: Damian Whitewood
Season: 10
Known for: Her body? Finishing precisely in the middle of the pack her first season, and lacking in the female fan support department, I'm not sure why the Baywatch Babe is back.
Last night’s score: 17

Sabrina Bryan
Current partner: Louis Van Amstel
Past partner: Mark Ballas
Season: 5
Known for: An unfair elimination. Despite topping the leader board several times and earning one perfect score, the Cheetah Girl was sent home midseason and is back with a vengeance.
Last night’s score: 22.5

Shawn Johnson
Current partner: Derek Hough
Past partner: Mark Ballas
Season: 8
Known for: Winning the closest season of Dancing With the Stars ever (against Gilles Marini) when she was just 17 years old. With the recent Olympic buzz and a three-time winning partner, we expect to see the former gymnast go far.
Last night’s score: 22
