Business mogul Ivanka Trump didn't wait four months after giving birth to her son Joseph before she slipped back into her skinny jeans and got back to work. Her secret? Trump attributes her 30-pound weight loss to Spin classes, lots of salads, lean protein like salmon, and homemade veggie soups, she told Shape.
Trump admits that before pregnancy, her eating habits were pretty "hedonistic," saying, "I ate like a teenager...carbs three times a day usually in the form of pasta or pizza."
Upon becoming pregnant with her daughter Arabella, she began thinking about food differently, pushing herself to eat more salmon and chicken, salads, and homemade veggie soups. "Slowly, I started to actually enjoy, if not crave, these healthier options. Now healthy eating is the norm for me, especially at breakfast and lunch."
There is one diet bandwagon Trump refuses to jump on: You'll never see her sippin' on a green juice. "I tried a juice cleanse, and it was a total disaster. For the eight hours that I lasted, I felt like I was on the brink of starvation. For me, it's about making the right choices."
