Get the Look: The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
Although it may take hours on the treadmill and strict diets to get the body of a Victoria's Secret Angel, it's a lot easier to re-create their hair and makeup. According to US Weekly, last night's fashion show, which aired on CBS, was all about "natural, feminine and glowing— fit for an angel." While each year showcases a different look, makeup artist Tom Pecheux says that this year they "killed everything," and ditched the fake tans and false lashes for a more natural look.
Even if you don't have a team of 21 makeup artists (that's how many were backstage last night) tending to your every beauty need, you can easily re-create the look here:
According to Pecheux, you start with an eye shadow primer on lids as a base for your eye makeup. Next, pop a light gold shadow onto the brow bones and the inner corners of your eyes. To get "ultra-flirty eyes," run a black liquid eyeliner along upper lashline, starting at your inner corner and extending slightly beyond the outer corners for a slight upward cat-eye wing. Top with a few coats of lengthening mascara on both your top and bottom lashes, and finish with a light pink or nude lip gloss. To get that healthy, sun-kissed look, apply a light layer of bronzer to your face, focusing on your temples, forehead, cheekbones and jawline. Lastly, blend a light pink blush onto the apples of your cheeks.
