In the last 24 hours, there have been more than 8 million tweets about Halloween, and the stars got in on the action. From silly to sexy to down right scary, these celebs went full throttle in the costume department.

Ellen Degeneres 
"Good luck telling us apart," tweeted Degeneres about her costume alongside Ellen Show guest and fellow Covergirl Sofia Vergara.

	Kim Kardashian and La La Anthony Don't worry, Kim Kardashian was not confused, she wasn't the Little Mermaid who sports long red locks but a mermaid inspired by Daryl Hannah's 1984 Splash. Friend La La Anthony was a little less creative donning a skintight catsuit to be—what else?—a cat here at the Midori Green Halloween party in New York City.
	Fergie and Josh Duhamel No Fergie and Josh Duhamel didn't dress as themselves for Halloween, but they were major narcissists. The Black Eyed Peas singer dressed up as Angelyne, the model/actress most famous for purchasing billboards to advertise herself, while her husband donned a Dennis Woodruff tee-shirt, going as the filmmaker whose home movies star himself.
	Hilary Duff Hilary Duff didn't take Halloween lightly. She used some serious face paint to achieve this scary Day of the Dead look while out in Beverly Hills.
	Diddy and Cassie Real-life music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs dressed up as pop royalty Prince with friend Cassie dressed as a sexy Cleopatra at the Playboy Mansion Halloween bash.
	Heidi Klum She may have postponed her infamous party thanks to Sandy, but Heidi Klum will be rocking her custom-made costume later this week. And as Bass put it when he tweeted this pic, "Paris with the girls out!"
	Ludacris Check out Luda's una! Dressed as basketball player Anthony Davis, it's Ludacris' homemade unibrow that makes this costume.
	Lauren Conrad Lauren Conrad tweeted, "want to see my Halloween costume?" Sure! But what is it? A little online research revealed the reality star was dressed as a ghost. The most stylish ghost ever.
