How Kate Upton Got in Shape for Her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition Cover
It may be the middle of winter, but Sports Illustrated is heating things up! The latest edition of the magazine's famed Swimsuit Edition just hit newsstands with gorgeous supermodel Kate Upton on the cover for the second year in a row, and no surprise, she looks nothing short of amazing.
Last year Upton worked with celeb trainer Justin Gelband to slim down and tone up using Gelband's "ModelFit" method, a mix of circuit training that included Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, and exercises with a Bosu ball or resitance band.
"Kate is one in a million! She always puts in a whole-hearted effort to her workouts and is always ready to work,” Gelband told SHAPE. “She would put in seven days a week if I let her! She knows how to get it done and is so humble, sweet yet tough, and educated at the same time.”
You may not need to prepare for a major magazine cover shoot, but that doesn't mean you can't work out like a supermodel! Gelband will be live on our Facebook page at 3 p.m. EST TODAY (Tuesday, February 12) to take all your diet- and fitness-related questions for one hour. Curious about a specific diet plan? Wondering how to break through that plateau and shed those pesky last five pounds for good? Justin is ready to help with his arsenal of no-fail diet and workout tips and to talk about his specialized fitness program, ModelFit. Don't miss it!
