Experts think that Jessica Simpson gained between 50 and 60 pounds during her pregnancy while most doctors recommend gaining between 25 and 40 pounds. But it’s not just about the pounds. Simpson says that she allowed herself to indulge in cakes, cookies, fried chicken, and more throughout her pregnancy. And while she says she really enjoyed this time it’s about fueling your body right! That said she’s ready to get back into shape. According to our lifestyle editor, Bahar Taktehchian, the new mom will start working out after about six weeks and may rely on celeb trainers, chefs, and nutritionists.
Simpson may also be the next face of Weight Watchers. According to the New York Post last December, she penned a $3 million deal to become the weight loss programs newest spokesperson.
