Ever wonder how the Biggest Loser trainer relaxes? We found out!
At the end of an exhausting day, most of us plunk down in front of the television, quite frequently with a snack in hand. And if you’ve ever vegged out in front of an episode of the Biggest Loser and thought, "I just can’t imagine Jillian Michaels getting cozy on the couch with a pint of ice cream," you’re not alone. A few weeks ago while interviewing our September cover model, I decided to find out how the intense trainer relaxes!
The Biggest Loser star admits she doesn’t get a lot of TV time, but is super-grateful for Netflix and On Demand when she does snag some downtime. She likes to tune into Breaking Bad, Dexter, and Through the Wormhole on the Science Channel. Michaels is also admittedly obsessed with the Newsroom: “I can’t miss it. Every episode is just so good!”
And if like me, you’re imagining Michaels stretched out in her favorite workout clothes like Aviator Nation, Free City, Hysteric Glamour, Ever, and K•Swiss. you’re wrong. “I get out of them as soon as the workout is over—they’re sweaty and gross! But I do love to wear sweats. I’m a lazy bum at heart.”
We have a hard time believing Michaels is lazy when it comes to anything, but it’s good to know even one of the country’s toughest trainers likes to lay low from time to time!
