VOGA’s Holiday Sangria
Approximately 150 calories, 18g carbs, 12g sugars
3 to 4 fresh figs, sliced (or 1 cup dried figs)
1 gala apple, sliced
1 pear, sliced
1 cup of cherries
2 to 3 oranges, sliced (not peeled)
1 cup orange juice
1 cup brandy
1/2 cup triple sec
2 bottles VOGA Italia Merlot (or VOGA Italia’s Dolce Rosso for a sweeter sangria)
Orange peel, for garnish (optional)
Combine all fruit in a glass pitcher and slowly pour in orange juice, brandy, triple sec, and wine. Cover and chill from two to 24 hours—the longer, the better! Stir gently and serve over ice. Garnish glasses with orange peel.
