If you're hosting an election day party or eagerly following the polls at home instead of at a crowded bar, whip up one of these political cocktails. It doesn't matter who you voted for, you can drink in celebration—or misery—and keep the calories in check with either of these light libations.
1 part Patron Tequila
1 part Cointreau
1 part pineapple juice
1 part freshly squeezed lime juice
Pinch sea salt
Splash Polar Raspberry-Lime Seltzer
Fresh pineapple, for garnish
Combine first five ingredients in a cocktail shaker with crushed ice. Shake vigorously, until the shaker shows condensation. Pour into a glass, top with seltzer, and garnish with skewered pineapple.
Polar Mint Chocolate Seltzer
Sprig of mint, for garnish
In a cocktail shaker, combine cream and chocolate syrup with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into a glass. Top generously with seltzer, stir gently, and garnish with mint.
