Korean food might be best known for its barbecued beef and pork dishes, but that doesn't mean it can't be healthy.
In her new show Korean Food Made Simple, executive chef Judy Joo shares her simple and tasty twists on classic Korean recipes, as well as her best tips for lightening up some of the fattier fare and how a few secret ingredients can transform a meal.
"I'm passionate about the Korean flavors I grew up with in the states," Joo says. "In this series, I'm traveling back to South Korea—from the buzzing metropolis of Seoul to the swarming beaches of Busan—to introduce the people and places who inspire my cooking and share with you the best of Korean food."
