The Ninth Cocktail of Christmas: Nine Cran-Merry Margaritas
On the ninth day of Christmas my true love gave to me nine cran-merry margaritas, eight bloody merry maids a milking, seven sparkling swans a swimming, six geese a laying snowflakes, FIVE BOX OF WINE, four calling birds (who live in a spice tree), three French martinis, two turtlenecks and Campari with a pear purée.
Nothing gets the ladies dancing like a margarita, that’s why I chose Jose Cuervo’s light cran-merry margarita for the ninth cocktail of Christmas. I recently had the opportunity to try Jose Cuervo’s new light margarita mixes and thank goodness, they DON’T have that weird “light” taste. The mix is a blend of Jose Cuervo Especial Gold, triple sec and a twist of lime so it’s a real time saver when you’re entertaining. If you’re looking for a lively holiday soirée this is the drink for you. And if you really want to bring the festive fun blend a pitcher (rather than serving on the rocks) of the cran-merry margarita and a pitcher of traditional margaritas. Pour both drinks alongside one another in a margarita glass just before you serve. That way you’ll get a festive blend of red and green all in one glass.
