When the temperature drops sip on this ginger-infused gin martini
The winter solstice passed more than a month ago (on December 21st), but with record lows in parts of the country and water turning instantly to snow-like mist when brought outside (watch the video below to see this bizarre transformation take place in Fargo, ND, at 48 seconds), it feels like we're just now welcoming the season. So it only seems appropriate to whip up the winter solstice cocktail courtesy of Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse.
Skip the bar and watch the snow fall from the comfort of your home with this three-ingredient, 223-calorie cocktail in hand.
Winter Solstice Cocktail
2 ounces Tanqueray Gin
1 ounce Lilet
1/2 ounce Domaine de Canton
1 orange twist, for garnish
Combine first three ingredients in a shaker. Pour into a martini glass and garnish with orange twist.
