Beauty editors have long been a fan of Sweet Lily™ Natural Nail Spa & Boutique, but I had never made the trek to Tribeca to give it a try—until recently.
I thought I deserved a little R & R after shoveling my rental car out of countless inches of snow (courtesy of the blizzard NYC got hit with in December), so I made my way downtown to the shabby chic spa to unwind. Once I got there I was greeted by the spa owner, Donna Perillo (who couldn't be sweeter), and instantly fell in love with the decor. Picture this: a quaint spa filled with overstuffed club chairs, a comfy sofa that will swallow you whole while you wait (see below), an over-sized, old wooden farm table for manicures (naturally), and homemade hand and foot soaks good enough to eat (I chose their cranberry apple seasonal blend). Translation: I was glad I made the trip.
Here I am enjoying my pedi...
I honestly had the most relaxing experience ever (I even took a cat nap during my service!) and just had to share. I hope I've inspired you to treat yourself with a little TLC this winter—and even go to Sweet Lily Spa if you're in town! —CC
