Having “workout” be synonymous with “fun” is really important to me because the stresses of the school week can get me down, especially when it’s “that time of the month,” and especially after the nice weather disappears. So I’m taking Zumba, which essentially consists of high-energy music, fast Latin dance steps, and a fair amount of shimmies and booty shaking (learn more about Zumba here). I’m taking it with one of my best friends, we always leave class laughing even on otherwise dreary days.
