This morning "E! News" host and reality TV star Giuliana Rancic announced on "Today" that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Just 36 years old, doctors found that Rancic was in the early stages of breast cancer when she was going in for her third round of in vitro fertilization treatments.

Rancic has been trying to get pregnant with husband Bill Rancic, and the couples IVF treatments have been shown on her reality show, "Giulana & Bill." She says the breast-cancer diagnosis will not stop her from trying to start a family.

"I'm not going to give up" on trying to have a baby, she told USA Today. "Now I truly believe God was looking out for me. Had I gotten pregnant, a few years down the line I could have gotten sicker. So the baby saved my life."

According to media reports, Rancic  will have surgery this week and then radiation for six weeks. She's expected to make a full recovery. Our thoughts are with Rancic and her family!
