Most fitness studio-backed apparel lines focus on two things: broadcasting the studio’s logo prominently and designing gear to sweat in.
Ramy Brook for SoulCycle breaks this mold. The collection, which debuts today, features subdued pieces to take you through your post-sweat-session day. With the line of comfy, chic pieces to wear out of the saddle, SoulCycle inches further into the lifestyle realm. Paired with the post-ride workout glow, cyclers are set to tackle the grocery store, the juice bar, and everywhere in between. [Tweet this news!]
Ramy Sharp, self-proclaimed SoulCycle addict and creative director of fashion line Ramy Brook, drummed up the idea for the collection with SoulCycle co-founders Julie Rice and Elizabeth Cutler. They loved Sharp's post workout style and wanted to share it with their devoted community.
SoulCycle's main apparel collection consistently features fitted hoodies and tees adorned with wheels and skulls. For this new line, New York-based Sharp focused instead on clean designs without logos and graphics. The designer scaled back on her usual allegiance to bright colors and kept everything in gray and white, though her signature knack for draping comes through with a flowy halter and long-sleeved top. We especially love the flirty Charlie Dress, and the fact that—get this—each piece is named after a SoulCycle instructor.
The six-piece collection includes tops, harem pants, shorts, and a dress, all in super soft jersey cotton. Prices range from $98 to $155.
