Wow, this week has been quite a whirlwind! My new book Cinch! Conquer Cravings, Drop Pounds and Lose Inches, which debuted in the January issue of SHAPE (see here for the story online including a month's worth of recipes, including exclusive recipes that aren't in the book!) was also featured on the Early Show Monday morning and today on The Rachael Ray Show.

The more I talk to people about this plan the more excited I get. I absolutely LOVE what I do for a living. I feel like I have the best job in the world and can't imagine doing anything else. For me being able to connect with others - like you - and people who have purchased the book, who I would never have had the chance to meet or counsel one-on-one, is such an honor and a thrill.
Helping people lose weight in a safe, sane and healthy way, learn more about nutrition, feel and look better, have more energy and confidence and maximize their health is my passion. That's why I've been blown away by the wonderful feedback I've received. Here are some of my favorite comments:
Cynthia does a great job of explaining why she chooses the food she does, why all calories aren't created equal, why the timing of your meals is important, and the combination of them. Her overall quest is to get you to learn to listen to your body and learn to time your meals to the cues of your body and learn the correct combinations.
The recipes in the book look delicious, and what I like about them is their simplicity.....a plethora of information on WHY we should be eating more of the recommended foods. I mean, haven't you noticed that so many times, a food will be recommended for us without many reasons WHY??
This is a unique do-it-yourself approach to dieting and weight management, but a little more like having a road map or tour guide for your journey.
Without my even realizing what had happened, by the end of the detox, Cinch! had completely reset my taste buds. Cinch re-circuits you in a way that just feels natural and RIGHT. My husband eats everything I prepare and says at least several times per week how he LOVES the feeling of "eating really clean.
