Becoming a morning person

I mentioned before that I've started working from home two days a week. But because of that, I'm now in the office later the other three days catching up on paperwork. I've been having a hard time fitting in exercise around my longer hours. I don't want to go after work because I'll miss eating dinner with my family. Janice Taylor, my life coach, suggested I set my alarm clock 30 minutes earlier than usual and take a walk before heading into the office. Then, on weekends and when I'm working from home, I can pound the pavement for longer. At first I worried that I'd be too tired to follow this plan, but I'm really enjoying it. I like having time to myself in the morning, and getting to work with the steps already logged on my pedometer.
