Can it!

I’ve always struggled with the phrase: “I can’t.” (I can’t be thin, I can’t do another rep, I can’t decide what to eat.) But that’s in the past now. I’ve had to change my vocabulary if I want to succeed. The other night I felt like I “couldn’t” cook dinner because I was tired from a long day. So my husband and I decided instead to order Italian delivery. By the time I got out the menu, started to look it over for a healthy choice, and figured out what we both wanted, I realized I could just whip up a quick, healthier pasta dish in less time than it would take to get the food delivered. So that’s exactly what I did. That’s just one example of turning an “I can’t” into an “I can.” And if I keep doing that, I’m going to reach my goal.
