Get Specific: Setting Weight Loss Goals

This week I want to talk a little about motivation, which is something I’ve always struggled with. I recently came across a checklist about goal setting and I learned that staying on track is easy when you know what achieving your goal will provide for you. And don’t be vague! Saying I want to weigh a certain number is hard to grasp, but telling myself I want my jeans to be loose by the end of the month is more tangible. Think about what you want to accomplish and how it will change your life. Ask yourself what kind of lifestyle you’re going to be able to have once you get there, what impact it will have on your daily routine. Think about those rewards and you’ll be likelier to discover them first-hand.
