A few days ago my mom and I went to the mall to get some shopping done. After walking around for more than two hours, we were both hungry and needed to sit down, so we headed to P.F. Chang’s. We sipped on hot tea while perusing the menu, which is full of amazing sounding dishes. Not wanting to eat anything too unhealthy, my mom asked me what I thought would be a good choice. I decided we should get the “lunch special bowl" which included rice (we both chose brown), meat (I opted for chicken with an orange sauce and she got spicy shrimp), and a veggie (we both went with broccoli). The portions were huge, so we both stopped halfway through and got the rest packed up in doggie bags. It was nice to have a meal out together—long overdue with my crazy schedule—and know that I didn’t blow my calories for the day!
