Milestone reached!!!!

Cue the band, load the confetti cannon (we'll save the firework display for the grand finale)!!!  I have been anxiously awaiting the 50 lbs lost milestone and this morning my scale and I celebrated finally accomplishing it!  You should have seen me, I literally did a gymnastics finishing pose on my scale, ran into my bedroom and woke up my husband to tell him the good news.  Needless to say, I'm pretty stoked!

Do I still have a long way to go?  Sure.  But I'm not focused on that right now.  I'm going to celebrate tonight with a cardio dance-a-thon in my living room and a delicious chickpea/veggie stir fry and then my focus moves onto my goal of reaching 200 lbs by April 1st.

I have been taking my exercise a little more seriously lately as I have learned that I can do A LOT more than I thought I could.  Last night I had a fitness assessment with my new personal trainer and managed to score a "good" in all areas except for the wall squat (because of my knees).  That made me feel pretty good because if I had done it in September I probably would have gotten a "pathetic".  It's hard to believe that I used to get winded walking up the stairs!

Anyways, I was so excited to share my news with you all and now I have done that  :)  I hope that you will continue to share your successes and struggles with me as well.  We're in this together and there are so many people here who help to keep me motivated and supported everyday!!!

Start weight- 270 lbs

Current weight- 220 lbs

Target weight- 145 lbs long term, 200 lbs by April 1st.
