I was able to relax and stay on track!
My husband and I recently took a much-needed vacation to a resort in Mexico that we’d gone to last year. But even though the place was the same, our experience was totally different. Last year I never went to the gym and would get exhausted doing one activity a day. This year I woke up early to go to the gym, did aqua aerobics every day (which was fun because a different person taught it each day), took salsa dancing lessons (thanks Zumba for making me look like a pro!) and even played some beach volleyball. Toward the end of the week, I stopped going to the gym (figuring that I could do a lot of those workouts at home), and focused on other activities like running on the sand, water polo, pool volleyball and long sightseeing walks. The best part was doing it together with my husband. We both came home feeling refreshed and full of life.
