The new fall television season is in full swing, and my husband and I have totally gotten sucked into a lot of the shows—both old favorites and some new ones. We now set our DVR to record Dexter, Boardwalk Empire, 30 Rock, The Office, and Glee. That adds up to a lot of hours on the sofa—which isn’t the best thing for my fitness level. So instead of being a total couch potato, I try to do some exercises while I watch. Some of my go-to moves are crunches, the plank, lunges, squats, calf raises, and stretches. Because I’m so into the storyline, I don’t get bored, and by the end of the episode, I’ve fit in a pretty good workout.
