In my last blog I talk about all the meat I store in my freezer, but I also keep it stocked with bags of veggies and fruit. I try to buy a lot whenever they’re on sale—they last for a long time and, because they’re usually frozen right after being picked, they are just as nutritious as the fresh varieties. I use them steamed as a side dish, mixed in the juicer, or stirred into oatmeal to add a boost of flavor. What are your favorite ways to use frozen peas, broccoli, or berries?
