Say cheese!

Most people think that when you’re trying to lose weight, you have to do without all the foods that you loved in the past. But during my journey with SHAPE, I’ve found that you just need to learn to be choosier about what you eat and make sure to keep your portions in control. Let’s take cheese for example. I love it. And I’ve noticed that when I use a milder one like Monterey Jack in a recipe, I add more to my dish. But if I go with a more intense variety, like Feta or aged Parmesan, I use less and still taste it. I also sprinkle it on top instead of stirring it into pasta or salads. That way it doesn’t get lost in the mix.
