My husband, who has been fit and trim his whole life, has watched me struggle with my weight for over 18 years (we started dating when I was in high school). He used to be pretty active and even played golf on the Golf Channel Amateur Tour two years ago, but when we bought our house he had to stop since our free time was filled with all of the home improvements we had to do. One night recently, he decided to do a workout DVD and I joined in. Granted I was using 5-pound weights and he was using much heavier ones, but I kept up and even got the choreography down before he did. (Thanks Whitney!) As we were working out together, I realized that we were both getting healthy, at our own pace. Exercising together was something I had always wanted to have happen, and now we can!
