I’ve been feeling especially tired and achy this week, but I just chalked it up to my typical busy schedule. And even though I wasn’t really in the mood to exercise, I made myself do it anyway. It turns out, I may have pushed myself too far. I woke up this morning with all the symptoms of the flu: achy body, fever, and chills. I’m taking it easy now and getting the rest I need, but this is a good reminder that I should listen to my body. There’s a difference between skipping the gym because I’m feeling kind of lazy and actually needing sleep.
