Working Out at Work

Since, like most people, I spend a huge chunk of my time at the office, my personal trainer Stephanie Pipia suggested that I incorporate exercise into my workday. I’m lucky enough to have an office with a door that closes, so I can sneak in planks, squats, and lunges without everyone I work with thinking I’m crazy. I also have a set of dumbbells at home that I am planning to bring to work so I can do bicep curls and tricep extensions in between checking emails and running to meetings. 

Because I sit in front of a computer all day, I make sure to stretch every hour or so. I also take breaks and get up to walk during the day, whether it’s down the street to the local cafeteria for lunch or a few laps around the building. I also use the stairs instead of the elevator whenever possible. Every little bit of exercise counts!
