Meet the Adidas Adipure Trainer ($90; shopadidas.com), the company's first barefoot-style shoe designed specifically for training. The Adipure has a neutral rubber sole (10 millimeters at the heel and forefoot) and toe pockets for each of your little piggies to splay naturally, helping your feet feel more connected to the floor. These kicks are a little less flexible than similar sneakers on the market to provide more stability—key for strength exercises and drills that require side-to-side movements. While we've been resistant to try barefoot-style shoes for running, we're going to give these a go in our favorite sculpting class. (We hear they're also great for Crossfit.)
