Need some motivation to get your end-of-the-week run in? Think of Colleen Caul. The St. Louis native has been running since mid-July to raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic condition that her sister Katie Rose has lived with for years.
When Colleen hoofs it into New York City today, she will have covered 1,000 miles (the distance from St. Louis to the Big Apple) in just 65 days. Go Colleen! The trek earned her a spot on the National Milk Mustache "got milk?" campaign's team of athletes, who supported her cause with a $5,000 sponsorship—and plenty of lowfat chocolate milk at her rest stops. :) To read more about Colleen's story, check out runforroses.com.
