The hips are the physical home of the second chakra, which governs creativity, sexuality, flexibility, and one's ability to go with the flow, which all harbor a lot of emotions. So the hips are kind of like the junk draw for your feelings. When you get that stuff moving out, the sky is the limit for what you can do and how great you can feel!
