My Must-Have Yoga Gear

September is National Yoga Month. Whether you’re someone who occasionally dabbles or you have a regular practice, you’ll love this gear.

Lucy Hatha Power Pant ($88; lucy.com) With anti-chafe flat seams, a low-rise waistband, and moisture-wicking fabric, these pants are super-comfy for the studio or just running errands. And because I'm someone who often has to hem workout bottoms, I appreciate that they come in three lengths, as well sizes XXS to XXL.

Shape zebra printed mat ($25; theshapestore.com) No monochromatic mats here, this zebra version makes me smile every time I unroll it. Its 5-mm thick and has sticky grip to help you comfortably move from pose to pose without slipping.

Manduka MatWare mat sleeve (from $70; amazon.com) This surprisingly roomy bag has clips to secure your keys, water bottle, and towel, as well as an inside compartment to stash your valuables. And I love its sleek look!

Lole Silhouette tank ($55; lolewomen.com) This cute top has just the right amount of stretch to hug your body without showing every bump. Plus, its neckline doesn't dip so low that you're exposing your girls with every forward bend.

Hugger Mugger cork yoga block ($14; amazon.com) If you’re like me, there are a few poses where your hand doesn’t quite reach the mat—or your hips could use a little support—and that’s where this block comes in handy.
