I finally got my doctor’s okay to stop wearing a sling, but those six weeks with limited range of motion left my shoulder stiff. (It’s tough to raise my arm more than 60 degrees in any direction.) And because I haven’t been able to lift weights, my right arm looks like a noodle! Bright side: My left arm is pretty darn toned since it’s been picking up the other one’s slack!
I start physical therapy next week, but I’ve decided to nudge my weakling in the right direction before then. Today I used a resistance tube to do biceps curls with both arms, and I’m doing front and side raises with a 2-pound ball. I’m determined to get back my girl guns…stay tuned.
