I can’t be the only one. Tell me you picture yourself on stage with the cast of So You Think You Can Dance every time you watch the show. And there are a few dances in particular I dream of being part of: Katee and Twitch’s door dance (the beginning of my obsession with Duffy), Hok and Jaimie’s the hummingbird and the flower, and of course Travis and Heidi’s bench dance. That’s why it was basically a dream come true when I had the chance to dance with the cast of All the Right Moves including SYTYCD season one winner Nick Lazzarini, Juliard trained Kyle Robinson, Teddy Forance who has performed with Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, and Mia Michaels, and Travis Wall of bench dance fame!

So what was it like to dance with these guys? At first, intimidating! I was in tap shoes by age three, I thought I’d be fine, but when I walked in to Broadway Dance Center these guys were warming up with quintuple pirouettes, flips, and the craziest shimmy shakes I’ve ever seen! But thanks to personalities sassier than those shimmies the guys had the class at ease in no time. Watch the video below to see these talented guys dance—and me struggle in the back row (yes, that’s me one beat behind in the hot yellow/green top).

Between So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars I thought I was set on my dance show quota but I’ll be making room for All the Right Moves, which follows Wall, Forance, Robinson, and Lazzarini as they start their own company, Shaping Sound. These guys have big personalities and even bigger talent, you’ll be sure to get sucked in. Tune into Oxygen on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST for new episodes airing now.
