Over the weekend, Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren welcomed a new member to their family: a baby girl! Named Haven Garner Warren, it was the second daughter for the couple. While we expect Alba to be back in the gym as soon as she can (have to enjoy those precious early days, of course!), here's a look back at how she stayed so fit and healthy during her pregnancy.

1. She modified her usual workout routine. Keeping up with her usual tough workout routine wasn't really a possibility for Alba because she was pregnant, but that didn't keep her out of the gym. She worked with a trainer to safely modify her usual workouts for every stage of her pregnancy. The pay-off of pregnancy workouts is not only being able to bounce back into shape faster post-baby but also an easier delivery!
2. She indulged sensibly. Alba did have pregnancy cravings, but she made sure to balance those with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables to make sure she and her baby were getting proper nutrition!
3. She worked on her core strength and balance. Pregnancy can throw off your balance, so Alba did planks and other pregnancy-safe core moves on a Bosu to keep her core strength strong.
