Britney Spears is known for a lot of things, but one of her shining achievements is definitely those rock hard abs. She's been flaunting them since the beginning of her career (hello, famous moment where she danced with a snake at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards). Truth be told, it takes a lot of discipline to carve a core like that, but Brit has always been dedicated—yet realistic. She told E! News that she indulges in "Tacos, pizza and ice cream—I love sweets. I love Oreo Blasts—they're the best!" And when she goes all out at the Cheesecake Factory—she knows how to balance it with this workout.

Brit is all about working out to keep up her toned figure, but she never makes it sound like a chore. It's a part of her lifestyle, and it's something that really seems to make her happy. Her workout plan includes running, swimming, dancing, and long rehearsals for her Vegas show. And watching her in action—like in this Instagram video where she challenges her manager to a round of push-ups—inspires us all to get stronger.

Britney is clearly at home when she's performing—whether it's on a world tour, during her her residency in Las Vegas, or in a music video. Proof? Britney's ninth studio album Glory is out now and the video for the lead single "Make Me" features Britney in some of her teeniest tiniest looks to date. She's 100% in her element (the hunky guys don't hurt).

There's nothing sweeter than watching Britney pass along her passion for dancing to the next generation. She's been teaching dance to young girls and posting the experience on Instagram. Brit breaks the moves down step by step and even has them stretch out a bit with yoga moves. She captioned one of the videos with this sweet message, "Teaching these little ones dance brings me so much joy. It's so refreshing being with children. You're reminded of the UNKNOWN once again... let's all keep learning." And in another, she reiterated, "It's so great to teach."

The key to a healthy body image—especially when you're in the spotlight—is to stay true to yourself and not let what anyone thinks about you bear any negative effect. Britney certainly knows a thing or two about that, admitting recently that she battled crippling anxiety in the beginning of her career. "I moved to Los Angeles when I was very young. I was so under scrutiny. If a hair was out of place, I'd be so anxious. I would get very anxious about so many things." Today she's stronger and more confident than ever, attributing that to her boys. "Becoming a mother and being with my boys has made me so much more accepting of myself," she says. "That has been a really big thing for me over these last few years."
She Knows How to Let Go Of the Past and Appreciate the Present

In 2007, Britney shaved her head and attacked a photographer's car with an umbrella—all symptoms of an undisclosed mental illness that caused her to lose custody of her children and require her father to take over as her legal conservator. But nearly ten years later, Britney is stronger and healthier—inside and out. She shares custody of her sons with her ex-husband Kevin Federline and her life and career are grounded and under control. She recently opened up to Flaunt magazine about her life today, saying, "I have kids now too, so everything is on a way lower scale. I'm actually a very boring person. I don't go out. I don't really do anything. I should be Mother Mary, seriously. I think my life has done a complete 360. Things are just different now. It's a different time. It's a different era." But you know what? Boring Britney still lives a way more exciting life than anyone we know—and we're just glad she's healthy and strong enough to keep making the music we love.
