Cindy Parsons isn't a household name, nor is she a celebrity in the traditional sense. As part of The Heart Truth's "Follow the Fifty: Models of Heart Health" program, she recruited her daughter and friends to join her in a quest to lose weight and get healthy. In nine months, Parsons lost 77 pounds, lowered her body mass index by 11 points, and decreased her blood pressure from 128/82 to 110/72.
