On-Screen Couples that Translate to Real Life Love

It’s no secret that many TV and movie stars keep on-screen fires burning long after the directors yell cut.  Actors spend long hours on set, making for some pretty heated love scenes off set.

From Twilight’s sexy vampire duo to Gleeks and more, here’s a roundup of six ‘reel’ couples with ‘real’ chemistry.

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson
Take two relatively unknown actors and a hugely successful movie franchise and what do you get? A love-fest both on-screen and off. Robert Pattinson reportedly had a crush on Kristen Stewart during the first Twilight film. The only issue? She had a boyfriend. But by the premiere of the second installment, New Moon, the pair was hot and heavy.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt
Way before they were Mr. and Mrs. Pitt (well, sort of), they were Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt famously fell in love on the racy movie’s set, reportedly while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston (tsk tsk). A troupe of children later, the globe-trotting couple is still going strong, but has yet to formally tie the knot.
Lea Michele and Cory Monteith
Fans of Fox’s Glee are rejoicing right now. Their golden small-screen couple is apparently taking their romance from fiction to fact. According to numerous reports, longtime buddies Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are now an item and have recently been sightseeing together in his native Canada. Now that’s something to sing about.
Zoe Saldana and Bradley Cooper
Bradley Cooper has certainly had his fair share of hot Hollywood romances, but it’s his most recent co-star Zoe Saldana that he’s been cozying up with lately. The two star in the upcoming flick The Words, and set the rumor mills abuzz when they were spotted being a little too touchy feely—after the cameras stopped rolling.
Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer
The, um, blood was barely dry on HBO’s hit vampire series in 2008, True Blood, when co-stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer started dating. The now married couple is a Hollywood force-to-be-reckoned with, who gush about each other in almost every interview they do.
Emily VanCamp and Joshua Bowman
Revenge actress Emily VanCamp walked away with more than just a hit TV show this season. According to published reports, she’s an item with on-screen fiancé Josh Bowman. The 25-year old has a history of romancing her co-stars. VanCamp was previously linked to Dave Annable, her former fictional brother on the show Brothers and Sisters.
