How Kate Beckinsale Got Catsuit-Ready for Underworld Awakening

Beautiful Brit Kate Beckinsale might just have one of the most sought-after figures in Hollywood. With curves that don’t quit and a body of steel, only Kate can make fighting zombies and werewolves look that good—and in the tightest leather catsuit known to womankind, to boot.
The actress and former “Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive” currently stars in the fourth installment of the hit franchise Underworld Awakening, in theatres today. That the movie is in 3D only gives Beckinsale even more motivation to look smokin,' on screen and off.
Good thing the sultry star has been kicking butt with both her action hero characters and her intense workouts long before 2012. Celebrity trainer and fitness expert (a total inspiration herself) Ramona Braganza has been transforming Beckinsale’s figure for the last several years.
For Underworld Awakening, Braganza worked with Beckinsale on set in Vancouver four to five times a week during the first month of shooting, then three times a week for the second month.
“For this movie, she was wearing a tight outfit so she wanted to look fit and curvy—but not big,” Braganza says. “Because we’ve worked together before, I know she always likes workouts with yoga-inspired moves.”
For all her clients, Braganza trains with her 321 Training Method, which includes 3 segments of cardio, 2 circuits of strength training, and 1 core.
“To look like Kate, do exercises that you enjoy so you can stick to a program,” Braganza says. “Change up your workouts and kick it up for a shorter period of time to make it more intense.”
Beckinsale also had a chef while shooting the action flick (ooh la la, lucky lady!) who prepared meals using Branganza’s healthy 321 Nutrition Plan. Designed to boost metabolism and promote eating often with smaller meals, the talented trainer’s program is a surefire way to look—and feel—fabulous.
