Khloe Kardashian clued us in on the wonders of battle ropes, but now her big sis is reminding you not to overlook the OG fitness cord—the jump rope. In a recent post on her app, Kourtney Kardashian spelled out why she loves to use a jump rope as a workout warm-up, or a "pre-workout" of sorts. Here's what Kourt had to say about getting her workout started with five minutes of using this #basic tool: "Not only is jumping rope a really easy way to get your heart rate going before a workout, it also engages your entire body, using everything from your core to your arms and legs," she said in the article. She goes on to say how incorporating just a few minutes on either end of your workout as a warm-up or even a cool-down can make a big difference in your overall calorie burn. "Also, this is a workout you can do virtually anywhere, inside or outdoors, at home or while traveling," she said. "For this reason, I like to pack a jump rope in my luggage when I'm on vacation, so I'm able to exercise when I'm away from home."
