Bella Hadid Says She Wants Her Old Body Back

Looking at the sea of "perfect" bodies and seemingly confident-as-hell celebs swarming our social media feeds, it's easy to feel like we're the only ones with body image issues and insecurities. But that's not the case—even models of the moment (with the Instagram-perfect "ab crack") like Bella Hadid aren't always at peace with their bodies.

Hadid, who will be making her Victoria's Secret Fashion Show debut next month, recently admitted she's not totally happy with how her body has changed since she entered the fashion industry. In an interview with People, she talked about fielding comments about her fluctuating weight. "My weight fluctuates and so does everybody's and I think that if people are gonna judge, that's the worst you can possibly do because everybody is different. I really didn't mean to [lose weight]," she said of her über-fit figure. "Like I want boobs. I want my ass back." (Here, Bella opens up about her struggle with chronic Lyme disease.)

Here's the thing: Hadid has always had a killer bod and professed a healthy fitness routine—her svelte figure or lack of a booty are beside the point. Sharing her insecurities is part of a bigger movement. Not only is society becoming more accepting of different body types (as Bella knows, curves are in, baby!), but people are more comfortable than ever about sharing their insecurities—no matter their size.

"I think every single person in the world has insecurities," she said in the interview. "It's crazy because I think that when other people look at all of the VS models or all of the girls [who] are walking, they're like, 'They're not human. They don't have any insecurities.' But I think every single girl [who's] going to be walking probably has an insecurity." Truth, Bella. Truth.

At the end of the day, you should care about being healthy and feeling confident AF—both things Hadid seems to have down pat.
