Even though Julianne Hough had no intentions of "shedding for the wedding," the long-time Dancing with the Stars judge is finding time to work out while on her honeymoon with now-husband Brooks Laich. The newlyweds, who are currently enjoying their vacation in the Seychelles, recently posted a series of photos showing their quick workout sesh on the beach, giving us all sorts of #couplegoals. "Fitness should never be a chore if it is you are doing it wrong," Brooks captioned the gallery. "Working out should be fun and something that invigorates and inspires you to become your best self! The photos show Brooks casually doing some overhead squats using his wife as weight. Julianne can be seen doing split squats and helping her husband do some seriously impressive weighted push-ups.
Along with making exercise a priority, Julianne has also been candid about the importance of eating clean, something she has in common with her new husband. "I try to stick with foods that don't come in boxes," she previously told Shape. "I don't want a whole paragraph of ingredients in my body. Brooks and I generally eat protein and veggies. For a boost of energy, I mix in quinoa or rice sometimes. If Brooks had his way, we'd have steamed chicken and broccoli every day."
That said, she's also a huge promoter of "cheat days" and cutting yourself some slack from time to time. "When I look at pictures of myself when I was 19, my body was bangin', but I was killing myself," she said. "I was working out two and a half hours a day and eating the bare minimum to survive. I was so miserable. I wasn't healthy. To be honest, I looked like a kid. Now I'm embracing the fact that I'm a woman with curves."
