If you follow Revenge Body star Khloé Kardashian on Snapchat, you know she's up and at 'em almost daily—working out in her home gym, on the road, at her sisters' houses, and while on vacation. But the celeb took to Snapchat for a different reason yesterday (and no, it wasn't just to post a video selfie with the bunny ears filter). Khloé addressed complaints from followers who said that her workouts were only accessible to people on high-end budgets, who have their own personal trainers and home gyms. While it's true that many of her fitness snaps feature some pretty impressive facilities, equipment, and trainers, Khloé makes a point to set the record straight that everything she does can be modified to work for you.
"I'm showing you guys how to do the workouts so you don't need a trainer, I'm using everything that I'm sure you guys have around the house, or improvise!" a fired-up Khloé said in response.
And while we can't say for sure that everyone can do EVERYTHING Khloé does on her fitness Snapchats, her sentiment is right. Modifying a workout or exercise based on what you have access to—whether that's a full gym and a personal trainer or simply a yoga mat and dumbbells in your living room—is easy to do with a little creativity and motivation.
Don't have the budget for a gym membership? Going for a run outside costs nothing.
Don't have access to lots of fancy fitness gear? There are endless workouts that require little or no equipment and will offer you the same amazing results.
So before you assume that building a body like Khloé's is only for the rich and famous, take a look around your apartment for makeshift equipment, sign up for online classes, and most importantly, cut the excuses.
